
Privacy Notice
In order to provide you with the best coaching service possible, I need to hold your personal contact details and records of our coaching sessions. This enables me to maintain my own accounts/records and to comply with legal regulatory requirements.

My obligations to you

I take great care to safeguard the personal data provided by my clients and to process this data fairly and lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (GDPR).

I will never use your personal data for any purposes other than the administration of the coaching service that I am providing to you. I will only retain your personal information for as long as is necessary. This is in line with guidance from the Information Commissioner’s Office.

I am committed to protecting your identity and information that you share with me. I request the minimum level of personally identifiable information necessary to run my business effectively. I will never obtain information about you indirectly from sources outside my business.

Information that I hold on you

I will always endeavour to keep accurate and up-to-date information about you. Your personal information is given to me in the knowledge that it will not be shared with anyone else. This information will be stored in a secure place where access will be password protected.

I will hold information about you such as your name, address and contact details. Information about you and any notes that I take during our sessions will be kept securely in accordance with the relevant data protection legislation and subject to my duty of confidentiality. These will not be shared with any third party, except if they are required by law or by any regulatory body.

Once any paper documentation is not in use it will be destroyed. Any electronic data will be deleted within two years of the end of our working relationship.

Communication

If agreed, I will communicate with you by the means of email or telephone. We each agree to accept the risks of using email e.g. viruses, unauthorised access. I will not disclose Information to anyone without your written permission, unless there is a serious risk of harm to you or others, or I am required to share your personal information by law. I will not share your information with anyone for marketing purposes.

Your Rights

- To have your information amended, if appropriate e.g. if it is out of date, or inaccurate.
- For you to be told how I obtain and use your information.
- To have your information deleted unless it is required to comply with legal obligations.
- To request a copy of your information.
- To request that I restrict the processing of your personal data.
- To make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Data protection law gives you the right to complain in relation to any processing of your data and any breach of your rights. If you have any concerns relating to your personal information, please email me in the first instance.
